Bright, bold, spring flower power! This is what happens when you combine fluorescent, a flower stencil, glass bead gel, deli paper and other fun supplies from Erin!
I was so thrilled when Tiare Smith asked me to be one of the teachers for this year’s Gratitude Junk Journal class! I haven’t always been great about writing down my goals, but in the back of my head this has been one of them… to teach with a bunch of other amazing artists in a collaborative online class.
(Keep reading below for a coupon code to register and learn how you can win a spot!)
As you can see… it’s been months since I’ve updated my website with a blog post! In fact, I even need to update my new city. My husband and I (and the cat) moved to Austin, Texas, in June. A difficult end to 2018 with my husband losing his job of almost 20 years, to a long, stressful 2019 with finding a new job, selling our house, packing, finding a new house…and so many other things thrown in.
I have so much to be thankful for despite the difficult days, and I can’t wait to share with you how I am documenting this journey in my art journal.
Registration for the class begins TODAY – October 1 and class begins November 1.
Click on the link above to register, meet the other artists, and read more about the class.
The class is priced at $69, HOWEVER… I have a coupon code for you!! YAY! Now through October 23, use the code JOYFUL when you checkout for a 20% early bird special discount.
I would love for you to join us on this journey of gratitude. I cannot wait to see what you create.
Oh, and one more thing….you can win a spot in the class! Watch for a post on my Instagram account with the class logo to find out how!

My fourth tutorial for Donna Downey’s Artist Gang was posted yesterday. I made a canvas using Donna’s “live inspired” stencil — a perfect reminder to hang on my studio wall!
I love that I have the opportunity to inspire others as a member of donna’s gang! ? If you create something that is inspired by my tutorial, tag me on Instagram (@nicolewatsonart), post below, or in the donna downey: community of artists facebook group so I can see it!
The video is above, and you can visit Donna Downey’s blog to read additional information about this week’s tutorial.
And, check out the other blog posts and YouTube videos from the other members of this year’s gang – we are all so unique and different!
