SPCT: Trust Your Wings

Hello! I’m so excited to post my first tutorial for Shawn Petite’s Creative Team!

This 6×6 canvas literally fell into my lap when I was cleaning….and the rest is recorded in the video above.

Meet Nicole

I am a mixed media artist and photographer living in the Austin, Texas, area. After returning to school and finishing my degree in 2017 at Iowa State University, I created this website and began my YouTube channel. Creating has always been a part of me, and now I am excited to begin this new adventure sharing my art to the world. Check the about me tab to see my resume and portfolio. I definitely have some *very* favorite pages and a couple that are just, well, meh. But it was so fun flipping through to remember each month! Happy New Year's Eve, art friends! I cannot believe it's the end of 2022 already. Seriously. As I think back on the year, and all the art that was (or wasn't!) created, my favorite part was inspiring YOU. Thank you for making this top nine happen! Your likes, comments, sharing, DMs, following, support, and friendship mean so much to me.

I met a HUGE goal of mine in 2022 - to monetize on YouTube, and that is thanks to YOU. Thank you for all the minutes you contributed to my watch time for that to happen.

I've been little absent lately, and that will continue for a bit. Big goals and plans are ahead for 2023, and I'll be sharing them in a couple upcoming newsletters this month. If you aren't subscribed, check out the link in my bio so you don't miss it. My goal is to send out a newsletter once a month - but in all honesty, it's been over a year since I sent one out.
